The American National Bank was organized in Helena in 1890. The original officers were Thomas C. Power, president; H. J. Seligman, vice president; and A. C. Johnson, cashier. By 1901 Johnson had moved up to the vice presidency and N. J. Gould was the cashier. These officers remained until T. C. Power retired from active management of the company in 1918. A. C.
